Funny how much fun camp is when you’re a kid, but when you’re a grown up, it’s kind of a major disruption of the routines that keep your world running smoothly. They do a great job with the kids every year, though, and seem to have a great time while they’re at it. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS"'>One of the Gear Up ladies mentioned to me this morning, and I thought it would be good information to pass along, that it is a good idea to have a child size swimming pool filled with water for your outside dogs during these extremely hot days. Her daughter’s dog had died yesterday, probably from heat exposure. The dog had a bowl of water available for drinking, but may have needed a bigger container to get in and soak to cool off. Just be sure and replace the water regularly to prevent mosquitos. They are not only a nuisance, they are a health hazard, with all the diseases they can spread through their bites, not the least of which is the Zika virus which has been much in the news lately, due to it being linked with birth defects in babies born to mothers who had been bitten with infected mosquitos. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><u><span style='font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS"'>Our Lunch menu for today includes: <o:p></o:p></span></u></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS"'>Cheesy ham and potato bake, BBQ beef sandwich, chicken strips, fried squash, mixed vegetables, fries, ranch style beans, burgers, hot rolls.
