rise nationally at this time. Eastern adheres to the guidelines provided by the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for student and employee
protocols. of symptoms, a positive COVID test, or close contact is no longer required.</span></li><li>Individuals
who have COVID symptoms or who have tested positive for COVID should notify any
close contacts and self-report to their instructor or supervisor.</li><li>Follow
the CDC isolation guidelines listed on the <a href="http://eosc.edu/covid" style="font-size:11pt;color:blue">EOSC
website</a><span style="color:rgb(50,51,51);font-size:11pt"> to determine how many days you should stay away from campus.</span></li><li>Students
should communicate absences from class to their instructors. Like any illness,
it is at the discretion of the instructor to excuse absences or allow makeup
work.</li><li>Employees should communicate absences from work to their
supervisor. Employees should use approved sick leave or request to work
