I met a few days ago with Mac Wall and Terry Britton (Executive Director of<br>
the Higher Education Telecommunications Association - HETA, and the<br>
Executive VP at Rose State, and a Task Force member). We also had a chance<br>
to meet briefly with the Chancellor. Among the things we discussed were<br>
ways in which to engage the broader academic community, including faculty<br>
from the various campuses. When the Chancellor's Faculty Advisory Committee<br>
met last Thursday, I was able to share some information about DTV with them,<br>
and we may want to find ways to have them involved down the road.<br>
<br>
OETA is shooting for having DTV operating in Fall 2003. That is only about<br>
18 months away! In order to get rolling with our plans, and to try and be<br>
prepared for fall 2003, we need to meet again reasonably soon. I'd like to<br>
get your input on possible meeting dates, looking at some dates/times in<br>
early March.<br>
