<DIV><B>Megaconference VII is Now Open for Your Participation.
Free!</B><BR></DIV>
<DIV>Everyone in the world is invited to participate in the Megaconference, 1
December 2005, from the comfort of his or her own office, classroom, or
conference room. Registration is now open via the web site
http://www.megaconference.org. Like any professional conference, presenters and
audience members will discuss current projects and developments. Unlike other
conferences, hundreds of participants will gather simultaneously from all
continents of the world using advanced networks, from universities, K-12
schools, and organizations. This year's theme -- Increasing Empathy Through
Video Conferencing-- focuses on improving understanding between individuals and
cultures, using video conferencing tools. The preliminary agenda will be posted
very soon.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>- Presentations will discuss and demonstrate how groups use
videoconferencing in real-world applications. Actual end users of video
conferencing will especially be presenting; technical presentations will be
limited. All presentations will be fully interactive, engaging multiple sites
and the audience.</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>- Musical mini-concerts: Have you ever heard a Didgeridoo or the Tennessee
Schmaltz? You have if you attended a previous Megaconference!</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>- The ever-popular Global Roll Call will return, where each participant
will get a moment of fame to say hello to the world, sing the school fight song,
or do whatever they like. You may see some funny hats. People do very
imaginative things!</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>- Door Prizes of videoconferencing equipment have been donated by major
vendors in the past. The Grand Prize is often a $10,000 video
station.</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>- Registration to participate begins today and ends November 23rd. To
participate, you'll need an H.323 or compatible videoconferencing station.</DIV>
<DIV><BR>See you then!</DIV>
