has been awarded a grant of $150,000 from the US EPA to administer a small grant program throughout EPA Region 6. EEANM is partnering with the </span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#00A000">Texas Association for Environmental
Education</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#2F2F2F">, the </span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#00A000">Louisiana Environmental Education Association</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#2F2F2F">,
the </span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#00A000">Arkansas Environmental Education Association</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#2F2F2F">, and the </span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#00A000">Oklahoma Association
for Environmental Education</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#2F2F2F">, to solicit proposals for projects that meet state association priorities. Projects may include professional development, student projects, or
statewide capacity building for delivering environmental education. Each state association will provide a team of reviewers to select projects for awards up to $5,000. At least 19 grants will be funded throughout the five-state region. The projects will
be selected by December 2012. The grant period is one year. </span> <br>
