This article seems to relate to KM. All of the following is cut and paste: In the From Our Sponsor section, Daniel W. Rasmus offers a follow-up to his June/July 2008 article "Scenario Planning and the Future of Education" by describing what education looks like in the four scenarios that emerged from Microsoft\'s scenario planning process. Rasmus suggests that educators and policy makers can use these scenarios to consider how large and small choices work toward or against a particular future. Set against a vision of the future we want, this imaginative thinking process can help guide policy decisions large and small. (See http://www.innovateonline.info/index.php?view=article&id=656&action=synopsis ) Innovate (ISSN 1552-3233) is an open-access, peer-reviewed, online periodical published bimonthly by the Fischler School of Education and Human Services at Nova Southeastern University. The journal focuses on the creative use of information technology to enhance education and training in academic, commercial, and governmental settings. Our basic assumption is that innovation in one sector can inform practice in each of the other sectors. Innovate (www.innovateonline.info) is published bimonthly as a public service by the Fischler School of Education and Human Services at Nova Southeastern University and is sponsored, in part, by Microsoft. ------------------------------------------------- Casey Ashe Supervisor, Metro LRC Tulsa Community College 918.595.7285 From cashe at tulsacc.edu Fri Feb 6 09:21:55 2009 From: cashe at tulsacc.edu (cashe at tulsacc.edu) Date: Fri, 6 Feb 2009 09:21:55 -0600 Subject: [Kipa-l] KM Society meeting next Tuesday Message-ID: Message from Cynthia Patterson: The first KM Society meeting this semester will be next Tuesday, February 10th, at 5:30pm in room 1E29 [at OU-Tulsa, 41st and Yale Ave.] (they call it building 1, the building where the library and fitness center are located).
