From redington at ogslp.org Fri Dec 7 16:04:30 2001 From: redington at ogslp.org (Edington, Rick) Date: Tue Mar 23 20:17:17 2004 Subject: [Lender] OETA- Oklahoma Cash for College Program Sponsorship Message-ID: <67B1776185FFD311926100805FC11F9D0127C506@handel.ogslp.org> We continue to work with OASFAA to prepare for the "Oklahoma Cash for College" program to be aired live on OETA January 17th at 8:00 PM. The one hour show, hosted by Gwin Faulconer-Lippert, will include a live phone bank of 24 financial aid officers ready to take viewer calls, an introduction by Chancellor Brisch and Regent Joe Mayer, and a variety of speakers including six to eight of our own Oklahoma aid officers discussing financial aid philosophy, common questions, misconceptions and the overall aid process. Other planned participants include Robert Butkin (Office of State Finance) speaking on behalf of the College Savings Plan, an IRS representative speaking about tax credits, and Bryce Fair speaking about OHLAP and OTAG. This promises to be an excellent, informative show and hopefully the start of an annual event. In order to maximize viewership, OETA has suggested a statewide release of promotional pieces to radio stations and newspapers. This is expensive, and we need your support. In accordance with OETA guidelines, primary sponsorship is available for up to 4 organizations and will include a spot for promotion at the front of the program. A secondary category called contributors/friends is also available which will result in the inclusion of your organization's name at the end of the show. Please contact Rick Edington at (405) 234-4333 or Mary Mowdy at (405) 234-4310 as soon as possible if your organization is interested in providing financial support to sponsor this exciting event.
