Subject: [Lu_faculty] Network maintenance and repair

In order to improve IP phone services and restore service of internet to 
the Physical Therapy building and the Stadium we need to make a number 
of changes to our network configuration.  At noon our core network 
switch in Sanford Hall will be restarted, which will take approximately 
20 minutes.  During this time IP phones will be temporarily down, as 
well as internet to the Student Success Center, Calvin Hall, the gym, 
Physical Plant, Young Hall, Centennial Court apartments, and Cimarron 
Gardens.

We will also need to make some configuration changes in the Student 
Success Center to improve phone usage.  These changes will occur on 
Friday. The phones may go down in the process, and if that occurs please 
call Lenard Smith at x 2929.

Subject: [Lu_faculty] Printer survey

ITS would like your help collecting information about your printer 
usage.  If you have a printer that is connected to the back of your 
computer using a cable (whether it be USB cable or parallel cable) 
please send a message to lsmith at lunet.edu.  Please include the make 
(ex:HP, Dell, Canon, etc,) the model number (ex.:Laserjet 2100, IR3025, 
etc,) and how much you spend on ink per month.  Thank you for your 
cooperation.
