Bring your “Brown Bag Lunch” and come join us for this innovative Faculty Development Networking Seminar Session.
Dear Colleagues,

On Wednesday, April 25, 2018 (12:00 Noon Central Standard Time), a Faculty Development (Brown Bag) Networking LCT Seminar Session will be offered at Langston University (LU-campus) in Room 331 Agricultural Research, Education, and Extension Building and by internet web-link on the Langston University (Tulsa and OKC) Campuses (TBA).

This Part II of the Collaborative Partnership for Learner-Centered Teaching
Seminar will energize faculty to create “student-centered” learning courses and communities, and build faculty partnerships across Universities. The Part II presentation will also include an interactive presentation on Culturally Responsive Learner-Centered Teaching.  Innovative faculty development should focus on Daly and Dee’s (2009) principles, which include: (1) be faculty-led; (2) focus on diversity; (3) foster curricular and pedagogical transformation; (4) promote inclusive pedagogy; (5) be cross disciplinary; (6) build connections across multiple institutions; and, (7) build and support democratic and collaborative leadership.
