Hi David,

UCO waives general education requirements for students seeking a second bachelor's when they hold a US bachelor's degree. For students whose first bachelor's is from an international university, we do require that they meet state regents' minimum requirements. We waive any general education requirements outside of those.

We have an incoming student who completed a bachelor's degree at the University of Ghana who is wanting to pursue a second bachelor's degree with our institution.  The question has been raised as to whether or not the student should have to complete any general education courses being that he already holds a degree.
