We create each honors version of a course with a new course number in SCACRSE in Banner. For example, a Composition 1 course normally would be “COMP 101”, but a Composition I Honors course would be “COMP 101H”. This allows the courses to reflect on the transcript. Blessings, Christine E. If it is a 3 credit hour internship, it would be 135 work hours. We run full term and half term internships. Using the 3 credit hour example above for a half term internship, we calculate the number of work hours needed (135 in this case) and divide by the number of weeks (7 1/12). That would leave them needing an average of 18 work hours a week to equate to 3 semester credit hours. So our equation is (45 work hours x # of credit hours)/# of weeks the class meets = the average number of work hours needed per week. I hope this makes sense.
