[Oacrao-l] 2022 Oklahoma Statewide Transfer Student Conference [CALL FOR PROPOSALS]

Hello, Colleagues!

The planning committee for the 2022 Oklahoma Statewide Transfer Student Success Conference is underway. The theme for the 2022 Conference is "The Transfer Student Journey: Mobility, Myths, and Matriculation."

We are inviting proposals for presentations for the conference. The requirements for the proposals are:


  1.  Be no more than 45 minutes in length. Please allow 10 minutes for questions at the end.
  2.  Include subject matter aligned with the theme. Example questions to answer include:
     *   What is your institution doing to meet the needs of the an increasingly mobile and diverse transfer student population?
     *   What programs or mechanisms do you have in place to support the transfer student journey at your institution?
     *   What have you done to combat common myths (i.e. underperformance, underprepared academically, etc.) about transfer student success on your campus?
     *   What promising practices are you doing to support degree and course alignment with your partner institutions?
  3.  A brief summary of presentation
  4.  Title of presentation
  5.  Full name and title of all presenters with contact information
