It's called "Period III" and follows both the free add/drop period (I) and automatic W period (II). For Undergraduate-level programs, there are 3 periods of processing. Free add/drop (period I) first 2 weeks of 16-week course (first week for 8-week one), then automatic grade of W (3rd through 12th week of 16-week course, and 2nd through 6th for 8-week one). Banner allows students to input/update this infomraiton but it's an all or nothing situation. They can change Gender Designation/Personal Pronouns and Preferred first name. We had students abusing this. They were submitting inappropriate first names. We shut it down. My question is Pronouns. How many do you create? There can be a lot. I had a student ask for She/Them. It was decided that the original intent of the policy was to make sure enough hours were taken at ORU. Then each individual degree program has their own specific requirements regarding transfer hours that may be stricter than what I stated above. For example, in the Journalism College: * Students may transfer in a maximum of 12 hours of journalism and mass communication coursework prior to full admission to the Gaylord College. * Once fully admitted to the college, students may petition the faculty to have an additional three (3) hours from an outside ACEJMC institution applied to their University of Oklahoma degree. * A maximum of 15 credit hours of JMC transfer coursework may be applied to a degree. Or in our Business College: * A maximum of 62 hours will transfer for credit from a two-year college. * Credit from a two-year college will be accepted to meet lower-division requirements and free electives only. * A maximum of six hours of transfer work will apply toward the major.
