State Regents approved revisions to the <i>3.17 Residence Status of Enrolled
Students</i> policy at their April 22<sup>nd</sup> meeting. Included
in the adopted revisions, is changing the name of the policy to <i>In-State/Out-of-State
Status of Enrolled Students</i>. Once the Chancellor has signed the
letter and the enclosed policy, this information they will be sent to the
OACRAO listserv. <br>

font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:blue'>It is important to note that the
implementation date for the revised policy is Fall 2011. However,
institutions may implement the policy early as approved by the Chancellor (The
President requests approval and provides implementation date/Chancellor
responds with an official letter). We will track which institutions will
implement the policy early and when they plan to implement it.<br>

Frequently Asked Questions that will be included in the Academic Affairs Policy
Handbook. A Council on Instruction Committee and members of OACRAO will
begin on this document soon. Further information regarding this process
