<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">I am assuming you are talking about receiving PDF transcripts, which is one of the ways to send transcripts electronically. That process is usually set up using a vendor, although there are institutions that
have set up their own process that is similar (Michigan State is a great example). As for the vendors that provide a process for sending and receiving PDF transcripts, Credentials Solutions is one that has been in the business for quite a while and has a
very secure process. The list of vendors sent by Charlie Monnot is pretty complete and all of their pluses and minuses. Some require you to be part of the “network” to receive transcripts and some don’t. The main question is whether or not they have a secure
process so that you can be confident that the transcript was not sent by the student, but by an institution, and all of the schools listed have a solid process. I have worked with each of these companies as part of the SPEEDE Committee and the PESC Board,
so am happy to answer any other questions you might have, but certainly talking to schools that use the individual vendor is a great way to find out about their process.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
