we have only allowed permanently assigned social security numbers and the OCCC assigned number to be placed in the field used for social security numbers. It seems like I am getting more and more DHS assigned temporary social security numbers that students
want me to use in place of their social security number. I have stood my ground in most situations, but I had a situation today where a student who wants to use that number is also employed at OCCC. As a result, our HR department is adamant about using that
number so that they may get paid. Obviously I will need to give in on this one as I don’t want to impact the student’s financial situation. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
