<i>Credit for Extrainstitutional Learning, </i>the <i>Cooperative Alliances Between Higher Education Institutions and Technology Centers</i>, and the
<i>Teacher Education </i>policies (for details regarding the policy changes, refer to the State Regents’
<a href="http://www.okhighered.org/state-system/pdf/2015-1-29-agenda%20master.pdf">
public agenda</a>). The revisions are effective Fall 2015. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Calisto MT","serif""><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Calisto MT","serif"">In July 2010, the
<i>Teacher Professional Development Residency Program </i>(TPDRP) was placed on a two year moratorium which was to remain in effect until June 30, 2012. On May 10, 2012, Governor Fallin signed Senate Bill 1797 to extend the moratorium until July 2014. However,
the induction program, in its previous form, was never reinstated. The TPDRP that was originally mandated in 1997 is no longer in effect; therefore, it has been deleted from State Regents’ policy.
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Calisto MT","serif""> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Calisto MT","serif"">As background, the revisions to the
<i>Credit for Extrainstitutional</i> <i>Learning </i>policy update nomenclature and publications referenced in policy and align with language used nationally relative to credit for prior learning. Revisions to the policy include the following:
