<p class="MsoNormal">In our annual notification, we state that the NOC email is the primary means of communication. I send an email to all students letting them know the deadline for application for graduation and state the primary purpose is for inclusion
in the graduation program and various honor programs. At the end of every semester, I run a report to see who has completed 60 hours and NOT applied for graduation. I degree audit those students. If they qualify for graduation, I send an email to their NOC
email account, copying their academic advisor, congratulating them and giving them a defined time to reply to say they do not want the degree. So far, no one has turned down the degree and most respond saying they were not aware they met the requirements
for graduation (sigh!!!) and they also usually respond they had not had a conversation with their academic advisor (sigh!!! Sigh!!!). Sometime when I am not on email, I will let you know my true feelings on the subject. We have limited certificates, but
do the same. Depending on the semester, I have a nice chunk of grads to add to those who applied. I hope this helps.<o:p></o:p></p>
