<p class="MsoNormal">Redlands uses the last day of classes as the graduation day for summer, fall, and spring grads.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We hold one commencement ceremony at or near the end of the spring semester for the previous fall grads, current spring grads, and upcoming summer grads with 6 or fewer credits to complete in the summer.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We utilize the National Student Clearinghouse for enhanced core enrollment reporting, NSLDS SSCR reporting, enrollment verification, and degree verification. A graduation date outside of the semester start and stop dates can cause issues,
which is why we opted for the last date of a term as the grad date.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I have been at OCU for 30 years, and historically our conferral date matched the commencement ceremony date. When we stopped holding separate summer and fall commencement ceremonies, we began using the last day of classes as the conferral

<p class="MsoNormal">For some reason, I'm now questioning whether that's the best approach.<o:p></o:p></p>
