We are working to wrap up fall 2005 OTAG disbursement reporting, and we need assistance from all institutions that still have outstanding reporting. Please complete your remaining OTAG Disbursement reports and submit your completed reports along with any unissued funds without further delay. As soon as we are able to close out fall disbursement activity, we will send fall reconciliation reports to all institutions. The reconciliation reports are informational and do not require a response unless you find that corrections and/or refunds need to be submitted to OTAG.

With spring 2006 OTAG reporting now underway, we have a few reminders about the current reporting process:

*	Students do not need to contact the OTAG office to report a change in schools. Rather, the school the student has transferred to needs only to include the student on their Award Claim Form submitted to OTAG, and the transfer will occur automatically as long as OTAG has received an ISIR with the new school included, and the student continues to meet OTAG awarding criteria. Please share this information with your front line staff as we are receiving a number of calls from students indicating that they were told to contact OTAG regarding their award transfer.
*	When you are ready to process spring OTAG disbursements for your students, please send a message to reports at otag.org or call 1.877.662.6231 to request a pre-populated Award Claim Form, if you want the OTAG office identify your potential awardees for you. Since we are not familiar with your campus disbursement schedules, the OTAG office will not automatically send a report to you.
*	If you prefer to initiate your own Award Claim Form, please use the attached report template. BE SURE TO PASSWORD PROTECT YOUR AWARD CLAIM FORM BEFORE E-MAILING IT TO THE OTAG OFFICE. The password protection is extremely important to secure your students' confidential data being sent over the Internet.

Note regarding the 2006-2007 OTAG application process for undocumented students:

Our communications staff are finalizing a new application form for specific use by undocumented students wishing to apply for OTAG award consideration in 2006-2007. We expect to have the new application forms available by the end of January, and we will make an announcement on the OASFAA list serve when they are available. FYI, we are planning to send an application form to each undocumented student who applied in 2005-2006, whether or not they were awarded.

Please contact us if we can provide more information regarding OTAG reporting or the 2006-2007 application process.
