[Oasfaa] HB 3119 (undocumented immigrants) on House floor Tuesday

> Attached are two press releases related to HB 3119, by Rep. Terrill (R - Moore) and Sen. Jeff Rabon (D - Hugo).  The bill is scheduled to be considered on the House floor on Tuesday, March 14.  Specifically related to higher education, the bill would repeal the provisions of SB 596 passed in 2003 that allows persons without lawful immigration status to be eligible for resident tuition and state financial aid if they have graduated from an Oklahoma high school and have lived in Oklahoma for at least two years with their parents prior to high school graduation.  The bill would also specifically prohibit persons without lawful immigration status from being eligible for resident tuition and "any postsecondary education benefit," including financial aid (see Sections 8 and 9 of the bill; link to text below).  Several amendments to the bill have been filed for consideration.  A link to the proposed amendments is also below.
