[Oasfaa] Household size question

I have a dependent student who filed her FAFSA with father's income and
father's marital status as divorced. The household size is 2 in family, 1
in college. Now she says her mother (father's ex-wife) lives in the
household "on and off". The mother is remarried, but has been separated
from the step-father for many years. She says mother uses father's address
as mailing address. She also said she thinks mother files taxes (the father
is on disability and does not file).

Would you include the mother in the household size? If so, what type of
documentation would you request?
