Financial Aid Position Opening in Columbia,  MO 

Stephens College, Missouri’s only four year women’s institution  for higher 
education located in Columbia MO, is seeking qualified applicants for  the 
position of Assistant Dean, Financial Aid. This position will manage the  
financial aid office staff and provide direction in interpreting financial aid  
policies, establishing financial aid criteria and developing strategies to  assist 
students and families.  They will be responsible for ensuring  financial aid 
funds are distributed fairly and in compliance with federal, state  and 
institutional guidelines and support all aspects of the financial aid  
administration.  This position will report to the Dean of Enrollment  Management.

Successful applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and a  minimum of five 
years of financial aid experience with a working knowledge of  government 
regulations and compliance issues.  
The Assistant Dean must  have demonstrated research, quantitative, and 
analytical skills; as well as  significant experience with implementing, 
understanding, and explaining awarding  models.  Exceptional communication and management 
skills are required of  this position.
