OFFICE OF SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL AID

FINANCIAL AID COUNSELOR

 

Salary:

*        Commensurate with education and experience

*        Range $2439-2805 per month

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

*	Provide financial aid counseling for students and parents.
*	Review aid applications and determine the necessary data and/or
data revisions to the Financial Aid Management file.
*	Act as financial aid liaison for assigned Colleges and/or
specified departments of the University.
*	Provide off-campus workshops and financial aid presentations to
high schools and civic organizations upon request.
*	Monitor the status of aid applications and the accuracy of
awards.

 

Qualifications:

*        Bachelor's degree with two years related experience required.

*        Master's degree in Counseling, Student Development, or Higher
Education preferred.

*        A criminal history background check is required for this
position.
