Oops!  You caught me copying from last year's message -- my earlier
message had Fall 2007 in the subject line, and of course, it should have
been Fall 2008.  Sorry about that!

Pre-populated OTAG Award Claim Forms for fall 2008 are available upon
request by each institution.  If your institution is ready to request
your eligible students' fall OTAG award funds and would like to receive
a pre-populated claim form, please send a message to reports at otag.org .

OTAG Award Claim Form deadlines for fall 2008 
Cooperation by all participating institutions in meeting the following
deadlines is requested and is necessary for the efficient administration
of the OTAG program for the benefit of students and institutions.

	*	Friday, October 3, 2008:  Each participating institution
shall submit an initial fall semester award claim for all eligible OTAG
students no later than October 3, 2008.  The president or chief
executive officer of any institution not submitting an initial claim by
this date will be notified in writing within 5 business days. 
	*	Friday, November 14, 2008:  No further requests for
awards or for increases of individual awards already disbursed for the
fall 2008 semester will be accepted after November 14, 2008.  Requests
for exceptions due to extraordinary circumstances may be granted upon
approval of the Chancellor for Higher Education and the availability of
funds.  All requests must be submitted in writing by the president or
chief executive officer of the institution. 
	*	Friday, December 5, 2008:  Institutions must notify the
State Regents of any pending refunds that have not already been returned
to the State Regents. 
	*	December 12, 2008:  The State Regents shall announce any
changes in awarding criteria for the spring 2009 semester
