Position Title:                 Financial Aid Counselor - Stillwater
Department:                   Financial Aid
Reports to:                      Director of Financial Aid

FLSA Status:                 Non-Exempt
SUMMARY:  This person will be a member of a team providing financial aid counseling services to all NOC students.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:
*         Timely review and processing of federal financial aid applications including analysis of information in federal applications and entering data and awards into POISE system
*         Ability to understand and follow government regulations
*         Counsel parents and students on types of financial aid available and how to apply
*         Pay attention to details
*         Oversee Financial Aid Office staff at the Stillwater campus
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This person must be able to work effectively with students and parents. This position requires good computer and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and work quickly and accurately.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A minimum educational level of an associate degree and two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
