[Oasfaa] New O-SAFE is Ready

The State Regent's Office is ready to launch the new secure file
exchange program.  The program will replace the current O-SAFE and will
become active on July 30th.  If you try to access the current O-SAFE
site after 8:00 A.M. on this date, you will be directed to the new
program.  You can log in to the new program by using your current
username and password; however, the system will require you to enter
your e-mail address and some other basic information (new password, your
name and phone number).  

 

The next time that you log in after the initial access you will use your
e-mail address as a username and your newly created password.

 

If multiple users currently use a single account/username, each user
will need to log in using that username and each will be prompted to
enter individual user information.  Each user at each school will now
have their own username (their e-mail address) and password.  

 

If you currently use more than one username to log in, please contact us
after your first login to any of your existing accounts so that we can
add access to all the programs to which you send and receive files.  For
example, if you need to send and receive files from OTAG and CACG and
currently use two different usernames, call us after you login to your
existing account for OTAG and we can add access to CACG to that account.

 

I have attached a copy of the new user manual.  While this program will
look different, we believe that it will work well and you will find it
easy to use.   

 

If you have files that need to be sent or if you need to request files
please do so by Thursday, July 26th.  Please follow up with an e-mail or
phone call so that we can complete the process that day.  Files sent
after this date will not be transferred to the new program and may be
lost.

 

Please do not send files to us through O-SAFE on Friday, July 27th.

 

****Also, the Oklahoma's Promise Eligibility Report will require that
you log in to the new O-SAFE and setup your new username (e-mail
address) and password before using the report.   As in the past, the
report process will use the same username and password as the secure
file exchange program (O-SAFE). ****
