I would like to know if you still have them sign the authorization to withhold books from their title IV funds. Just looking for some input on how our process may change. We have always given the students a paper book voucher to charge their books on campus and they signed the authorization on that form. We are now moving to the "wallets" with their id/debit card. Husband is deployed in Afghanistan and the wife has turned in a General Military Power of Attorney and has signed all of his paperwork as the Power of Attorney. The POA states nothing about education/financial aid, it?s just a general POA. I have searched and searched the handbook and couldn?t find anything about whether I could accept a POA or not (imagine that). Does anyone have any guidance on this? Thank you in advance.
