[Oasfaa] Amended taxes

Good Afternoon,
I have a dep student who's Parents IRS Data Flag came back as an 07.
According to the FSA Handbook this would indicate the parent filed an
amended return.  The parent is not aware of any amendments and is trying to
contact his tax preparer.  If the tax preparer didn't file an amendment on
his behalf, what options do I have?
