*Director of Financial Aid Carl Albert State College, Poteau, OK*

*GENERAL DESCRIPTION*

The *Director of Financial Aid *is a full-time position based at the Poteau
campus.  Responsible for: financial aid authority on regulations and
compliance needs, federal and state reporting.  Provide administrative
oversight and direction of programs of financial aid, including but not
limited to: Federal Pell Grant, Federal Direct Student Loans, Federal SEOG,
Federal Work Study, OTAG, OHLAP.  Manage all financial aid appeals.

*QUALIFICATIONS:*

ü  Bachelor Degree; Master’s in Higher Education preferred

ü  Supervisory Experience required

ü  Broad financial aid knowledge required

ü  Knowledge and skills of record keeping, accounting and a tolerance for a
stressful environment

ü  Excellent customer service and communication skills

Physical qualifications include:  frequent sitting and bending; reaching
upward and outward; ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds; close,
color, and distance vision
