[Oasfaa] OASFAA 2021-2022- Greeting and Presidential Update

Greetings OASFAA!

It is hard to believe we are approaching the end of September. I sincerely hope your 2021-2022 academic year has been amazing so far and you are adapting to your new norm, whatever that may be at your institution. For those of you who are just now getting back on campus, welcome back and we hope your office plants are still alive!

We held our election for the 2021-2022 OASFAA board members. Please welcome newly elected board members:

But... we need YOUR assistance because we simply cannot do this without you and frankly, we don't want to do this without you!  The volunteer form is attached to this email and we hope you will take the time to let us know where you would like to serve and what committee you would like to be on! If you have questions about what each committee does or the amount of time involved, please contact any of our board members or committee chairs.

We know that the last few years have been challenging and unprecedented (yes, I said it) and we know you have had to find creative ways to serve students while remaining optimistic and in compliance, and this has not gone unnoticed!  We also hope that OASFAA has been a place of support and comfort in the midst of it all!

We want to encourage everyone to utilize the listserv if you have questions you need to ask, need suggestions on processes, implementing regs etc., have suggestions or ways you have found to implement new processes and make things easier, or just need to poll your peers and ask "did I read that right?" the listserv is the place for ALL of these things! I think we all enjoy the interactions from the listserv and the feeling of connection and camaraderie.
