From calexander at osrhe.edu Mon Jul 15 10:07:58 2002 From: calexander at osrhe.edu (Alexander, Carol) Date: Tue Mar 23 20:21:56 2004 Subject: [Oasfaa] OHLAP update Message-ID: The OHLAP Official Eligibility List has been updated on the server. In the past week we have added approximately 120 new students to the list, and we will have more to add in the near future. (If you would like to have a separate listing of only those students added since the 7/2/02 list, please let me know.) Please be reminded that many of the students who graduated from high school in 1997 will lose their eligibility as of July 31, 2002. Please double check the Expiration Dates of the students to avoid billing for ineligible students. As soon as the summer claims are received and completed, I will update the eligibility list so that these students will no longer show up on the list. If you have any questions, please let me know. The OASFAA Board has approved the Doubletree Downtown in Tulsa as the location for the Fall 2002 Conference. The dates will be from November 13-15. Those dates avoid conflicts with most of our neighboring states and does not conflict with the EAC Conferences. The Doubletree has indicated that the rooms will be $69 per night. Eddie Peck (Site Selection) will be examining options for the Oklahoma City area for Spring 2003. If you are interested in serving on a OASFAA committee for 2002-2003, please let me know. Send me an email with the area of your interest. Finally, the Cash for College is well underway. Scott Medlin, Rick Edington, Mary Mowdy and others will be meeting during the next several weeks to move forward with the project. Watch for more exciting details about that in the near future. Please let me know if you have any questions..... On behalf of my family, I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for kindness. I learned a long time ago, that people are supposed to be nice, but they don't have to be nice to you. I am very humbled by your kindness. If you're like me, you try to snarf down your lunch and sneak out as soon as this boring stuff starts. Well, DON'T, not this year. This is the time when they will pass the gavel to Charlie Bruce as the new National Chair of NASFAA for 2002-2003. This is also when he gives his big speech. And, if Pat Kennedy or David Horn will bring along a few OSU pennants or flags, I'll even wave one. Let's do this one up right and show Charlie our support. Geez, I'm really counting on him not being subscribed to the OASFAA listserv......
