Because I'm a native Lawtonian, I asked my family to check this out to try to
determine if this foundation is legit.  (The web site is www.leadershipfoundation.net) 
From what we can tell, the foundation is legitimate, although they may have a political
leaning;  the President, James Odom, ran as a Democrat in the 2000 U.S. Congressional
race in Southwestern Oklahoma.   But, then again, your students may not give a hoot about
the political agenda of this foundation (or the local Moose Lodge!) if they're willing to give away
