<BR>ATIONS: Bachelor's degree required; minimum three years of progressively
<BR>responsible experience in financial aid administration; demonstrated
<BR>leadership; effective supervisory and management experience; comprehensive
<BR>knowledge of financial aid regulations; proven ability to work effectively
<BR>with staff and a diverse student population; demonstrated use of technology
<BR>in the delivery of financial aid services; exceptional organizational and
<BR>multitasking skills; and excellent oral and written communication skills are
<BR>required.
<BR>
<BR>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to stand or sit for long periods; operate
<BR>appropriate office technology; speak and hear clearly at distances of 15
<BR>feet. Ability to transport self and equipment to various sites as needed;
<BR>maintain physical mobility, alertness, and composure.
<BR>
<BR>SCOPE OF JOB: To manage a comprehensive financial aid office including the
<BR>administration of over
<BR>$3 million dollars in federal, state, and institutional aid.
<BR>
<BR>ASSIGNMENT: Reports to the Dean of Student Services and through the dean to
<BR>the College President.
<BR>
<BR>SALARY: Based on qualifications and experience.
<BR>

<BR>WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time 12-month position.

<BR>BENEFITS: SICK LEAVE: 10 days per year, accrues to 40 days total.

<BR>VACATION: Earned at the rate of one day per month during years 1 through 5
<BR>of continuous employment, and 1.25 days per month thereafter. Accrues to 20

<BR>RETIREMENT: Employee is covered by the Kansas Public Employees Retirement

<BR> (KPERS). Employee contributes 4% of gross.

<BR>LIFE INSURANCE: $15,000 group term life insurance provided by Board, plus 1.5

<BR> salary group term life insurance provided by KPERS.

<BR>HEALTH INSURANCE: Board provides up to $235 per month ($2820 per year) for
<BR>a use-it-or-lose-it
<BR> health insurance benefit through GCCC-sponsored health insurance plan.

<BR>BENEFITS: Internal Revenue Code Section 125 Cafeteria Salary Reduction Plan

<BR> employee to reduce compensation in amount necessary to purchase from
<BR> nontaxable benefits contained in the plan and selected by the employee,
