OASFAA conference, I got a couple of questions about the status of HB 2590, a
bill that would provide tuition waivers at state system institutions for
the children of full-time police officers and firefighters (see text at <A
href="http://www.lsb.state.ok.us/2005-06hb/HB2590_int.rtf">http://www.lsb.state.ok.us/2005-06hb/HB2590_int.rtf</A> ).
The bill was introduced in the House but never received a hearing in committee
so therefore the bill is dead for this session, unless the language is placed
into another bill (which I would consider unlikely at this
point).</FONT></SPAN></DIV>
