The Financial Aid Administrator interviews students applying for financial
aid to determine eligibility for assistance.<br>
<br>
Key Responsibilities<br>
<br>
-Interviews and assists prospective or current students to complete financial
aid applications.<br>
-Advises and counsels students on alternative loan programs, as well as
communicating with loan co-signers when necessary.<br>
-Tracks student progress on financial packages.<br>
-Analyses financial packages.<br>
-Confers with outside agencies regarding students’ eligibility for
assistance.<br>
-Collects student aid reports from active students.<br>
-Determines eligibility for and tracking of Federal Work-Study awards.<br>
-Conducts entrance and exit interviews with students, advising them providing
repayment schedule calculations.<br>
-Contacts students to advise of impending delinquent loan status.<br>
-Completes and analyzes financial reports.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.<br>
-Evening and Saturday hours required.<br>
-Previous knowledge of federal and state financial aid programs is preferred.<br>
-Must be able to perform multiple tasks under pressure in a fast paced environment.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
