from one decimal point to two decimal points (e.g. from 2.5 to 2.50). This change clarifies that rounding is not allowed. High school students must have
<b><span style="font-weight:bold">at least a</span></b> 2.50 in the required 17-unit core curriculum AND
<b><span style="font-weight:bold">at least a</span></b> 2.50 for all courses taken in high school.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

graduated within the previous three (3) years.” The change clarifies that the period is three calendar years. In other words, a 2012 graduate must begin college no later than the end of 2015.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

font-family:Arial">Please carefully read the administrative rules that are included with the agenda item with regard to the new college GPA requirements. You may have students
that are getting near the first required check. Students that appear on the eligibility list with a high school graduation year of 2012 and thereafter are subject to the new requirements. The first check requires
<b><span style="font-weight:bold">at least a</span></b> 2.00 cumulative GPA (1.99 is unacceptable) at the end of the semester in which the student earns their 60<sup>th</sup> credit hour. Please notify the Oklahoma’s Promise office if you have students that
fail to meet this requirement. Additional GPA requirements are also clarified in the attachment.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
