We will have our basket auction again this year and I'm really excited about some of the items you'll get to bid on, so bring cash to buy your tickets!</span></p></div><div><p style="margin: 0px;" data-mce-style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;" data-mce-style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;"> </span></p></div><div><p style="margin: 0px;" data-mce-style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;" data-mce-style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">3. <strong>We need a candidate to run for President Elect.</strong> We have one person on the ballot, but what's an election without at least 2 candidates? This particular position is important and prior committee chair and/or board experience is helpful. You will have a year to learn from the President and Past President about what to do during your President year, so if you don't feel confident, don't worry. You will feel well-trained by the time you need to be.<strong><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;" data-mce-style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;"> So, what's in it for you?</span></strong> OASFAA pays for the President Elect to attend the NASFAA Leadership conference in Washington DC during the president elect year, and the SWASFAA conference and NASFAA conference during the President year. You also get to spend time with the great people on the OASFAA board and committees.
