<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">The Financial Aid Advisor is responsible for receiving, evaluating, and verifying student data to award federal, state, institutional financial aid. Student eligibility is determined in compliance with local,
state, and federal regulations, policies and procedures. A person in this position is responsible for advising students on matters of financial aid eligibility, and for providing necessary information regarding student financial assistance programs, and using
professional judgment in considering individual student requests for special consideration, satisfactory academic progress, dependency overrides, and debt management issues. Financial Aid Advisors are responsible for the administration of a specific financial
aid programs or services such as outreach programs, Oklahoma’s Promise scholarship program, or Oklahoma Tuition Aid Grant program and other programs which warrant a specific assignment.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
