It was wonderful to see everyone at the conference last week! I wanted to gather some input on institutional scholarships. Our current limitation is that students may receive their institutional aid for a maximum of eight semesters. As I'm sure many of you
are, we are seeing more and more students staying for ninth and tenth semesters as a result of major changes, insufficient credits, etc. What is the policy at your institution? Do you allow more than eight semesters, and if so, how many? Do you allow students
to appeal or request additional semesters? If so, under what circumstances? </div>

We sway back and forth between not wanting to "open up the flood gates" and encourage students to take longer than needed and possibly damage our four-year graduation rates, but also want to see students able to complete their degrees when they find themselves
in these situations. Would love to hear some feedback as we look at improvements or possible changes to our current policy. </div>
