The Node is a free weekly e-newsletter highlighting news, reports, and updates for the field of IR/IE. It is published through the volunteer efforts of myself and Eric Atchison, Vice President for Strategic Research at Arkansas State University System. We feel this is a much-needed resource for the field of IR/IE and we hope you will share it among your Oklahoma Association for Institutional Research and Planning (OK-AIR) network.

The e-newsletter will be sent every Wednesday and share up to a dozen key pieces of information from the field of IR/IE. A sneak peak of this week's edition can be seen at the end of this email. In addition, as we build a network, we have the ability to add new features, such as small surveys with results shared in the following week's edition. Subject: [OK-AIR] Spring Conference Canceled - Host for Fall?

Dear OK-AIR Members,

The Board of Directors has decided not to hold a Spring conference this year due to the hardships many are facing from the pandemic. We are moving forward with plans for a Fall conference instead, and our tentative date is October 29, 2021. If you have strong feelings on whether it should be in-person, virtual, or both, please email me at tbryant3 at uco.edu<mailto:tbryant3 at uco.edu> and let me know. We are also seeking an institution that would be willing to host the conference in the event that we choose to hold it in person. We generally get the best turnout when the location is mid-state, but we would love to consider any willing institution. Please let me know if you are interested in being a potential host.
