related to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board's (THECB) higher education strategic planning and accountability functions. The Director leads a team that performs complex research and analysis. Reports produced by the Strategic Planning team are
used by a wide variety of stakeholders including legislators and state and institutional leaders to inform higher education policies and practices. The Director is responsible for many of the key data resources for the agency, including the public higher education
accountability system and the Almanac. The Director attends to the accuracy and quality of analysis and incorporates an understanding of how data informs higher education policy and practice. Works under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with
