It's only a few days away!! In fact, only one week from today………its next Thursday!!  YOU are invited!!



Veterans and Military Appreciation Day hosted by the Veterans Upward Bound program at East Central University is May 16, 2019!!



We are excited to invite you and encourage you to share this invite with any military service members and their families and/or others who love and support them. I’m attaching a flyer so you can put it on your frig, mark it on your calendar or whatever you need to do so you won’t forget!!



We already have almost 50 vendors signed up! I’ve included the confirmed list below. These programs, organizations, schools and business are there to provide information and resources to military connected individuals and families. So if you have questions or need assistance, this is the place to find it.



Our program is scheduled to begin at 10 am. We are pleased to announce Mr Brian Paul, Veteras 4 Life, USA, will be sharing his story as our key note speaker. We will have a special presentation by Gateway Mortgage to a Folds of Honor Foundation scholarship recipient, and will be announcing the recipient of the Bret D. Isenhower Scholarship.  Bart Culver, the VA Education Benefits Liaison for the state of Oklahoma, will provide an update on education benefits.  In addition, there will be other items of interest and special recognition.  It will be a great program!



I hope you are making plans to join us. Lunch will be provided.  Door prizes will be awarded during lunch. We have some very generous donors who have made this event possible. (see list below)

All activities will take place in the Chickasaw Business and Conference Center inside the Stonecipher School of Business Building on the East Central University Campus,  830 East Main Street,  Ada, Oklahoma 74820!
