[Okepas] Summer Academies

We have started out mailing of Summer Academy posters. We are sending
them to counselors, "math department", and "science department" in
public and private schools. We will also be mailing them to boys and
girls clubs, public libraries and over 1500 churches in counties with
higher poverty rates.

The website is not live yet but we anticipate it will be live tomorrow.

I want to alert you to one little issue with the mailing. I sent last
year's letter to the printer rather than this year's letter. So rather
than wasting 5000 sheets of letterhead and print costs (your tax dollars
and trees), we are using the letter. There are only 3 things incorrect
about it: the 2009s should be 2010 and the "Twenty-two academies" should
be "Twenty-nine academies".

Again, you should have posters in your school by March 1 and the website
should be live tomorrow. Please let us know if you have concerns or
questions.
