These materials are addressed to "Head Counselor" of each school and contain one preparing for college brochure for each student and at least one copy of the Counselors' Resource Book for schools with 12th-graders (according to the school population figures provided by the Oklahoma State Department of Education). We encourage you to consider the delivery of these certificates at a special event in your school-either by giving them as part of your awards ceremonies this spring, or through other special venues. Your OK EPAS Scholars' roster will include students who scored at or above the College Readiness Benchmark in any subject area on the EXPLORE or PLAN test. These scores indicate whether students, based on their performance on EXPLORE or PLAN, are on target to be ready for first-year college-level work when they graduate from high school. The ACT College Readiness Benchmarks are: EXPLORE PLAN ACT English 13 15 18 Mathematics 17 19 22 Reading 15 17 21 Science Reasoning 20 21 24 * PLEASE NOTE: Because of reallocation of resources and staff time we will not print the certificates nor will we create the electronic certificates as we did last year. * THIS IS THE PROCESS FOR 2011: o When we receive the lists from ACT o We will email the EPAS CONTACT persons with precise instructions. * The EPAS Contact will be asked to email epas at osrhe.edu with the anticipated date of your recognition event. * We will email back to you an Excel file of your student roster AND a Word copy of the certificate. o If you know the person who was the EPAS Contact last fall is no longer serving in that capacity, please email epas at osrhe.edu and give us the updated information.
