To order ACT Explore or ACT Plan for off-grade students who are not included in OSRHE contract testing,
please go to the same website at which you ordered for your 8th or 10th grade students: readiness.act.org
Sign in with your e-mail and password
Select "Explore" or "Plan" as the program
Select the Testing Year: 2014-2015

Now, the difference!  Where it says "Choose Program", you will see two choices in the drop-down menu.

*       STANDARD EXPLORE/PLAN (NON-CONTRACT ORDERS)

Select "STANDARD EXLORE/PLAN (NON-CONTRACT ORDERS" This is THE most important step in the ordering process for off-grade (non 8th Grade Explore OR 10th Grade Plan) students.
If you do not see this option, do not proceed with your order!  Call ACT Customer Support at 877/789-2925
If you DO see the choice for "Standard," proceed with ordering as instructed .

You will notice that the only grades listed for ACT Plan will be Grades 8, 9, and 10.  If you are ordering for Grade 11 or 12 students, please enter "Grade 9" as your grade.  This will alert ACT order managers of your intention to order for "off-grade" students even though the correct grade option is not listed.  You will have the opportunity to indicate the correct grade (and it is important to do so) for the students testing on the School Header you receive with your order.

This process will allow you to:

  1.  order ACT Explore or ACT Plan for your off-grade students,
  2.  select whether you wish for the school or district to be invoiced for the testing, and
  3.  ensure correct reporting and reporting cycle for your off-grade students (separate from the OSRHE 8th and 10th Grade students).
