Good morning, OK-CAN:

We're writing to tell you about a new award being offered by the American College Access Campaign (ACAC) that will add new excitement to our College Application Week (CAW) efforts. It's called the ACAC School of Excellence Award, and the first ones will be awarded to a winning school from each participating state in early April.

Each year, after your school has completed its College App Week activities, you've been asked to complete an exit survey to report your CAW results. This data is crucial to ACAC each year as they use it to monitor our successes and challenges across the country. We're thrilled to say the schools who haven't submitted their surveys are being given another opportunity to send us their College App Week results via the 2019 Event Coordinator Exit Survey<https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CAWExit2019>.* It's important that you submit the survey before March 13, 2020 to be considered for the award. Oklahoma's winning school will be presented with a wooden engraved plaque before the end of this academic year. Thank you so much to those who have already submitted their exit surveys. All Oklahoma schools who have submitted their surveys by March 13 will be considered for Oklahoma's ACAC School of Excellence Award.

We hope you will read the attached letter from Melissa Caperton, the director of ACAC. We're very grateful to ACAC for presenting this opportunity to us, and we're excited to see what happens next!

Oh, and BTW- On May 6 or 7, ACAC plans to make a national announcement regarding the schools that have been named the School of Excellence for their state.

Did your school participate in CAW 2019 in some capacity without registering your CAW with us? If so, the coordinators of those efforts are encouraged to complete the exit survey, too. Let's show 'em what we can do!  If your school is receiving the OK GEAR-UP grant, there's no need to send in the survey. Your data has already been collected and reported.
