I know that your inboxes are inundated with emails but I wanted to share some resources for you and your community. I have one attachment regarding emergency internet resources and other resources listed below.

Next week I will have information and resources regarding concurrent enrollment and OKPromise for you, your students, and parents. At this time, please encourage your concurrent enrollment students to stay in close contact with their professors.
Here is a link, updated regularly, regarding information for each college campus and how they are responding to the COVID-19 crisis: https://www.okhighered.org/state-system/corona/docs/campus-covid19-responses.pdf

Subject: New webinar: Technology Accessibility in a Crisis

Good day!
The unprecedented steps that we have taken as a society to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus have included moving our interactions, information and programs to digital platforms. As we work to limit the virus' spread and keep one another safe we have moved meetings and events to remote tools such as Zoom or Skype. We push critical information out through our social media channels and websites at a pace that we haven't seen before. At every turn we are using web-based tools to maintain connections, share information and even to educate students and keep people employed.
During this incredibly fast shift to digital we have an opportunity to either keep our audience members with disabilities in the fold or to put up barriers that push them into the margins.

Join Rob Carr and Lyssa Prince from Oklahoma ABLE Tech for a free webinar on Thursday, April 2 at 10:00 AM to learn about tools, techniques and resources to ensure that our rapid move to digital does not include barriers for people with disabilities. We will talk about how vital it is that organizations make good decisions about platforms and content and give you some general tips about how to make some pieces of content more accessible.

The webinar is free. We do ask that you register. Registration is open and available here<https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/A11yInCrisis>. We will make sure that everyone that registers receives the connection details next week. Please spread the word!

For those of you in higher education in Oklahoma, ABLE Tech is also part of the online Learning Innovation Summit that begins next week. Our session is on April 8 and will have resources and tips for those that create academic content. Information about the Learning Innovation Summit is here<https://www.onlineexcellence.onenet.net/>.
Thanks much,
