Organizers would love for high school counselors to attend as they continue to work together with ICAP and other initiatives to help students identify and select a career path. They want to provide more opportunities to share information and resources between HS counselors and higher education career services professionals.

Hello Career Development Practitioners in Oklahoma! I hope your fall semester has been going well, as we are all navigating a very different start to the academic year.

We would like to invite you to join us for the First Annual & Virtual Oklahoma Career Development Association* Conference "Pathways to Resilience" 2020 on Friday, November 13.
*(Formerly known as the Career Guidance Network of Oklahoma, the newly named OkCDA is excited to embrace our ever-changing environment.)
Attendance is FREE.

The topics for this year's conference center around the theme of Resiliency.

Presentation topics will include:

  *   Holistic Career Interventions in a Time of Uncertainty - Seth Hayden, President-Elect, National Career Development Association
  *   Becoming a Resilient Community - Reuben Gant, Interim Executive Director, John Hope Franklin Center for Reconciliation
  *   Building Student Resiliency - Dr. Mike Stout, Associate Professor and GKFF Endowed Chair in Family and Community Policy, OSU
  *   Roundtables and Networking Hour

Important: Each member of your team must register individually; there is no group/organizational registration. Anyone who attends this conference will automatically be a member of OkCDA for the 2020-2021 year. The deadline to register is Friday, November 6th.
