[OkStudentPrep] PreACT ordering now open, please see reminders

Good afternoon,
The ordering window for the 10th grade PreACT funded by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education opened yesterday, August 1st.
ACT sent an email at 2:00 pm yesterday with announcements and links regarding PreACT. There is a lot of helpful information in both the email and links provided.

This is a direct link to order: https://readiness.act.org/ Please be sure you read the "Important Note" to the right side of the page regarding your login. There are a few additional steps.

A few things to please remember when ordering:

  *   Program: Choose "OK State Regents for Higher Ed Fall 2023 - Grade 10 only", otherwise your district will receive the bill
  *   Please order only for the number of sophomores that you have, ACT will calculate an overage so you do not need to order extra
 *   You will need to know if/how many students need a read aloud accommodation, a Braille accommodation, a human reader accommodation (Reader's Script) or
               Large Print accommodation
  *   When ordering do not use a PO Box for address, use a physical address, FedEx does not deliver to PO Boxes
  *   Do not choose priority or overnight shipping, those incur an additional charge
  *   Be sure to click "...Terms and Conditions..." and "Place Order" at the end of ordering
  *   You will get a confirmation number and will receive a confirmation email when you order correctly
  *   We provide the 10th grade PreACT for all public and private schools.
  *   If your district is also ordering the 8/9 PreACT, that order will need to be placed SEPARATELY so that the correct program and billing information can be
               selected/entered for each

Remember, open your box when it arrives to do a quick inventory so you don't have any surprises on the day of pre-administration or testing. New this year - we understand that the answer documents will be shipped separately from the rest of the material. You will use the box the answer documents came in to return the answer documents to ACT to be scored (no more polymailers).  Please be sure to take a picture of your tracking number before you send the answer documents back.

The PreACT offers a wealth of information which begins with the pre-administration section and continues with the assessment. This information helps guide your students, parents, and staff to prepare students for college readiness.
